Renee T. Krizan has been involved in theatre since her high school and college days. Since then she has been involved as Director/Artistic Director at Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Ephrata Area Community Theatre, Lebanon Community Theatre and Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg. She directed the inaugural show for Hershey Area Playhouse. Renee formed her own production company, R/K Productions, and produced plays at The Lantern Lodge and On Stage in downtown Lebanon; she has taught Children’s Theatre classes for Penn State Kids’ College and Open Stage in Harrisburg. At Gretna, she has served as Dresser, Props Master, Assistant Director, Outreach and Children’s Theatre Producer, Marketing Assistant and Development Director. Renee retired from Hershey Foods in 2001 following a 21-year career as a Machine Designer and is enjoying her stint as Associate Artistic Director here at Gretna.
