THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE

Music and Lyrics by William Finn   Book by Rachel Sheinkin

Conceived by Rebecca Feldman

Additional Material by Jay Reiss

This hilarious tale of overacheivers’ angst chronicles the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the championship of a lifetime.  This Broadway musical’s Tony Award winning creative team built the unlikeliest of hits about the unlikeliest of heroes. “We are using the alternate version of certain songs and dialogue supplied with the show to be sure we present a family-friendly version of the Bee, and we know youngsters and adults alike will appreciate this great production,” said Producing Artistic Director Larry Frenock.  And before each performance, four audience members are chosen to appear on stage as “guest spellers!”
