 The lineup of events:

The lovely Fountain Court at the Hotel Hershey is the setting for the first part of our Gala – the Cocktail Reception begins at 5:30 pm with over twenty tables of silent auction items, valued between $100 and $1,000! Then we move into the Garden Terrace Ballroom for wine, dinner, dessert plus the Wine Basket Card Game winner drawing, the live auction of everything from fabulous jewelry to travel adventures valued between $200 and $10,000!   Plus the Heads & Tails game to see who wins $1,000 in cold, hard cash!

New York City Audition Experience for Two!
Get the inside scoop on what it takes to appear on the Gretna Theatre stage.  Join the theatre staff and sit in on NYC auditions and join them for dinner afterward.  A stipend for round-trip Amtrak fare, hotel for two nights and dinner are included in this priceless adventure.  Arrive at your leisure via Amtrak on the first day and check in to your hotel;  experience a day of open auditions at professional rehearsal/audition studio where many a Broadway show has held its rehearsals, enjoy dinner with theatre staff, see auditions by appointment from Broadway veterans to those just beginning the following day.  The first person waiting on the line that stretched around the block last year arrived at 5AM to secure her spot to audition!  Auditions are slated for March 2017, exact dates to be determined.  This one-of-a-kind experience is valued as Priceless!  Donated by Patrick & Linda Castagna in support of Gretna Theatre.

The 2016 Schedule of Events on Saturday, October 8:

5:30 pm   Cocktail Reception with served hors d’oeuvre in the elegant  Fountain Court Lobby, bidding on Silent Auction Items, purchase your Playing Cards for a chance to win a huge basket of premium wines from around the world, and purchase of Heads & Tails cards to win the $1,000 in cold hard cash!

6:30 pm   The first set of silent auction tables close.  Don’t let anyone beat your bid for the items you want!

6:45 pm   Remaining silent auction tables close. Watch it! Snipers can sneak up and put a final bid after you if you are not careful!

7:00 pm   Welcoming remarks.  Wine, Dinner & Dessert is served. 

Cash, Checks and Credit Cards (MC/Visa/Disc/Amex) are accepted for payment. 

We are so proud that nearly 100% of our auction items are donated free and clear each year to Gretna Theatre for this vitally important fundraising event!
