One of south-central Pennsylvania's only professional theatres, and one of the oldest summer theatres in the United States, Gretna Theatre is located in the arts/resort community of Mt. Gretna, PA. Summer seasons of theatre have been produced at this same location since 1927! Featuring a mix of Broadway musicals and comedies as well as musical revues and theatre for children, Gretna Theatre currently operates at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse during the months of June and July each summer, and presents special events and educational outreach programming at other venues during the balance of the year. CURRENT ANNOUNCEMENTS: FULL AUDITION NOTICES AND CASTING BREAKDOWNS ARE NOW POSTED! CLICK HERE! SUBSCRIBERS: You must renew your season subscriptions by January 30th in order to guarantee the same seats for 2010! Requests for upgrades and new subscribers will have their orders filled in the order received. After January 30 we will still be glad to accept your subscription order, and seats will be assigned as "best available" as of the date of your order. Single Tickets for all shows will go on sale February 15th! Season Lineup and Dates. Subscription Order Form. New in 2010 - ALL EVENING SHOWS WILL BEGIN AT 7:30 PM! New in 2010 - THEATRE FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES shows for children will have assigned reserved seats.
